Technical Software Project Manager

Agile Test Analyst

Location: Leeds/Wakefield

Salary:  Highly Competitive, Profit Share & Bonus, Various Annual Incentives

Role Description

A key member of the team, managing Elelctronic Document Management software delivery projects to a wide variety of customers and markets.

The role will involve some hands on work configuring and implementing the software as well as supporting our customers.

You will identify value add bolt-ons to EDM products/projects, design solutions for customers and estimate work needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management (software projects) and customer communication
  • All aspects of delivering EDM & related software solutions to time, budget and quality. Including;
- Carrying out installs - ensuring software installs are carried out to time, budget and quality. While maintaining integrity of host environment
- Ensuring an effective transition to post-project system maintenance
- Documentation and demonstrations
  • Training end users on EDM & related software solutions
  • Providing support for EDM and related software products including database maintenance
  • Supporting pre-sales / professional services:
- Ensure proposed deliverables match customer expectations
- Quoting and designing solutions
  • Technical problem solving, including working with customer IT providers to ensure appropriate platform provision
  • Developing add-on additional business from customer engagements
  • Identification and delivery of improvements to the software delivery and support processes

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

Desirable

Project Management Certification such as PRINCE2, with 2 years’ commercial experience managing project teams.

Two years' experience delivering/installing software solutions.

One year's+ experience working with database systems (MS SQL)

Understand the elements of network infrastructure with experience solving network and hardware issues.

Proven logical and analytical skills.

Good team player, able to work effectively as part of the team and individually.

Microsoft Qualifications, ideally with exposure to Microsoft server products and/or related IT / Computing qualifications.

Proven logical skills, e.g. good Maths or Science grades.

Exposure to Electronic Document Management.

Experience working ion a software support desk.

Experience installing and configuring scanners/MFDs.
