One £50 million award-winning premium snack business has gone from strength-to-strength, enabling them to bake success with Xerox bespoke tech support.

KEEPING UP WITH RAPID CHANGE

In 2012, Burts Chips turned over £10 million. Five years later, that figure had multiplied to £52 million – with more growth forecast for coming years.

But while the business had gone from strength-to-strength, its IT and telephony systems hadn’t. Burts needed a bespoke managed technology service that could easily support a growing business and free up key staff to get back to their day jobs.

"Tackling day-to-day issues had become a huge drain on resources,” explained Mike Cosby, Burts' Finance Director.

After working with the team at Burts, Xerox IT engineers came up with a plan to digitally transform Burts with modern, secure tech that would help the company achieve its mission. Along with an overhaul of existing systems and servers, IT engineers ‘moved in’ to the Burts HQ five full days a week to help deliver fully unified comms and complete tech support.

READY FOR THE FUTURE

Burts bespoke managed technology service is now well-established and a resounding success, saving 75% of staff time. The company now enjoys fully unified comms that includes video conferencing and desktop sharing. With a hosted service and dedicated, in-house support, Burts can count on its IT systems to run like clockwork as the business continues to grow.
