'Inspire Britain' BMW dealership group sign up to mstore for automotive

William Morgan Group is “moving into the 21st century” by digitising paperwork in their Northampton and Oxford based BMW dealerships with Arena Group’s mstore for automotive software platform across their deal files, aftersales and affinity operations.
“The impetus for investing in mstore was seeing the amount of paper, wastage and also the storage required for files to meet all legislative requirement,” confirms Matthew Wilson, Group Financial Controller for the William Morgan Group.
William Morgan Group were recently recognised as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain, a report on the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic businesses. The authorised BMW retailer provides new and Approved Used BMW and MINI vehicles as well as operating the BMW motorcycle franchise, servicing, parts and accessories.
The Group sells between 8,000 and 10,000 vehicles each year. “The investment had to be right to ensure it was fit for purpose to meet the GDPR requirement to manage expiration of documentation through mstore’s accessibility, auto-archiving and auto-deleting functionality,” continues Matthew. “Scan and store solutions do not meet the requirements for the amount of volume that we’re doing.”
mstore for automotive provides dealerships proven capability to digitise problem paper right across their operations, another benefit of mstore over other platforms.
“We were needing lock ups to store paperwork in and it was getting out of control. As an effective business, how can this be right?” comments Matthew. “With mstore, we can move into the 21st century in terms of environmental impact, working smarter and more efficiently, and meeting all HMRC, manufacturing partner and auditor requirements.”
