2020 chosen charity of the year announced

Every year Arena Group chooses a charity to support over the course of the year, and this year we have chosen one of our long-standing customers, Community Integrated Care. Community Integrated Care is one of the UK's largest health and social care charities, they deliver life-enhancing support to people with a diverse range of care needs including dementia, mental health concerns, learning disabilities and autism.
Arena Group has been proud partners of Community Integrated Care for over seven years, delivering print and copy machinery and associated services in all their regions. We therefore have a great understanding of the charity and the impact on society that they have, which is why we have chosen to support them this year.
One of our project managers, Gareth Crane has volunteered to champion our charity efforts this year and has already kicked it off with an inspiring meeting with the team at Community Integrated Care to find out more about the incredible work they do. Gareth told us: “The work Community Integrated Care does is truly life-enhancing and we see that even in the small snippets of time that we’re installing a printer or simply checking in. It’s so inspiring to see and it’s impossible not to want to be a part of. These are the communities we live in, and if we can contribute to enriching the lives of those within our local community then it is a win-win situation for all of us.”
Although raising money is an important aspect of our partnership, we have decided to focus more on the time that we can give to the charity. Each of our employees receives 2 CSR days a year, providing the perfect opportunity to help the service as much as we can. Whether that be helping at one of Community Integrated Care’s events or revamping a community centre, we will help in any way we can.
