Location: Primarily remote working with one day per month in Armitage House, Wakefield

Role Description

A key member of the team, you will driven by a passion for dealng with customers and resolving their issues. This role will also help link customers, professional services, development, project management, helpdesk and installation specialists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for project delivery to quality, time and budget
  • Line management
  • Continuous improvements across the solution delivery life cycle
  • Work with peers/colleagues within EDM/adjacent departments to ensure goals are met
  • Adherence to the Xerox Competency Framework, at First Line Manager Level
  • Technical delivery of software solutions
  • Allocating work


Qualifications and Experience:



 Four years' experience delivering software solutions

 One year's experience project managing software solutions

 Two year's experience installing software solutions

 Two year's+ experience working with database systems (MS SQL Server)

 Passion for dealing with customers and resolving their issues 

 Able to describe technical detail in simple terms

 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a variety of stakeholders

 Proven logical and analytical skills

  Good team player, able to work effectively as part of the team and individually

 Microsoft Qualifications (AZ-204)

 Exposure to Microsoft server products and/or related IT / Computing qualifications

 Exposure to Electronic Document Management

 Project Management Certification such as PRINCE2

 Two years+ experience working on a Software Support desk
