Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For 2006

Arena Group placed 71st in the national rankings of the best small companies to work for. Scores were awarded based on questionnaires that were completed by staff. The findings of these questionnaires are summarised below:  

Staff at Europe's largest independent supplier of Toshiba business equipment feel appreciated and comfortable with bosses' expectations, earning the Wakefield-based company top 20 scores for rewarding good work (83%), fair workload (75%) and realistic deadlines (80%). Workers report little stress, giving an 85% score — ranking it 15th

Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards ‘best company to work for’

In October 2006 the creme de la creme of Yorkshire business gathered to honour the region's finest most forward-thinking companies at the Yorkshire Post's Excellence in Business Awards.

Arena Group was named ‘best company to work for’. We believe we won this award thanks to our ‘work hard, play hard’ philosophy. Arena Group was awarded ISO 9002 by the British Standards Institute on 14th April 1994. This standard ensures that every machine leaves our building, whether new or reconditioned, in excellent condition. Once in the customer's premises our level of support is second to none, with a service response time averaging 4 working hours and a 'First-Time-Fix' rate in excess of 95%. We can support machines anywhere in the UK from our service call centre in Leeds.

Arena was awarded Investor In People on 1st May 1995 for its high commitment to training of administration, sales and service personnel.

In a constantly changing hi-tech environment this is crucial if we are to maintain customer satisfaction. Arena's focus on training means there is, on average, an in-house training course every 6 weeks.
